Barcelona - Les Corts
The commission was to create a flow in a modern apartment between their contemporary living room and more conventional foyer area. This was achieved with a series of Japanese-inspired wooden lattice screens to privatize in a very subtle way the living-dining area.
The pieces we completed were a mixture of those featuring solid wood distressed in stone tones such as the entrance console and the dining room table, while others were finished with gloss lacquer finished such as the TV cabinet, the coffee table and auxiliary furniture, thus creating a contrast when playing with warm and cold finishes and colors. The same criteria were applied with upholstery, curtains and floor coverings in earth tones to unify the whole house and pops of color to highlight smaller pieces.
