Barcelona - Gràcia

PROJECT LOCATION:

Barcelona, España

DESCRIPTION:

The challenge was to design a comfortable and spacious interior and decorate it incorporating the beloved objects obtained on our clients’ numerous trips abroad. We implemented sliding doors and materials such as glass and linear illuminations to make the spaces appear larger, while on a decorative level, all the furniture was designed in solid wood of hand bleached pine and featured elements of iron and steel.

On one of the living-dining room walls, the artist Lourdes Camps painted both a mural with floral motifs in the same muted tones as the furniture, and in the hall a huge painting inspired by "Indian fabric", to accompany perfectly with their existing ceiling lamps of designer Philippe Starck.

In the patio, dark tones were used to contrast with the interior and highlight the lush plants and garden area. Since the owners’ spend as much time outdoors as indoors, and also desired a special space isolated from the noise and crowds of their central Barcelona neighborhood, we wanted to make this exterior area particularly special.

From the custom patio furniture to barbecue area, we provided them the perfect sanctuary to disconnect and unwind.
